FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Will there be access to eftpos or 'cash out' facilities?
You will be able to use eftpos at most facility points. Although there is internet access onsite it is not always guaranteed. Please bring cash as a back up. There will be no ‘cash out’ options available.
Will there be mobile coverage?
There is now mobile coverage from the Harts Range Community. This is sporadic and can become overloaded but is available.
Will there be firewood available?
You will need to bring your own supply of firewood for the weekend.
Can I buy alcohol over the weekend?
There will be no alcohol for sale over the weekend. Please bring your own.
Can I bring my own motorbike?
You can only bring motorbikes if you will be participating in the Motorkhana. If this is the case, all motorbikes can only be used during the event.
Can I buy food and drinks over the weekend?
Yes, the HRARC canteen will be open for your convenience and there will be a small variety of food and coffee vans available. Ice is also available from the canteen.
Will there be ablution facilities for the general public?
Yes, there are a number of toilet and shower facilities around the grounds including many long drop toilets in easy access locations.
Are there fuel facilities available?
There are fuel facilities available at the Harts Range Community and at Gemtree Caravan Park if coming from Alice Springs. Please plan your trip accordingly and check for opening hours.
Will I get a chance to offer some assistance over the weekend?
Absolutely, the HRARC committee are always happy for any assistance that can be given. Please approach any committee member and they will be able to point you in the right direction or make yourself known at one of our facility points.
